hi there, i would like to know a few questions
1. What scripts are necessary
2. Can we change the hotspot profile names, and the dhcp pool names, etc… or does it influence the scripts?
3. What interfaces and naming (eg. vlan names, dhcp names, hotspot names) are we not allowed to change?
thanks in advance
regards
chris

Hi Chris
Below our replies point by point:
1) All the scripts are necessary for normal hotspot working
2) No, it is better to no change the hotspot server or hotspot profile name instead, for the moment, you can change the dhcp pool name
3) It is better to no change any interface, vlan, bridge, hotspot, profile name, etc
Best regards

hi,
thanks for the reply
we have many hotspots running on the same CCR, so we cant import the script because in the script the name is not unique.
what can we do so we dont break anything and accommodate our needs?
regards
chris

Hi Chris
When on your Mikrotik, you import the configuration file (.RSC) downloaded from HSNM, you will lose the actual configuration of your Mikrotik.
If you want to keep your Mikrotik's custom configuration, you can add it inside the "Custom command" field inside GW configuration

By the way I suggest you to not change the name of the things (interface, valn, hotspot server, profiles, scripts, etc) configured by HSNM
