Hi Jameel,

here, http://hsnetworkmanager.com/coin, you can find informations about how COIN works as standalone service connected to your network (without HSNM).

Attached you can see a schema showing how COIN is connected to a network that is not using HSNM.

Best Regards.

How does it monitor the traffic of users, is any authentication required based on IP, MAC or user. in the attached schema it seems that we assign static IP to each user with the Gateway IP of COIN.

Hi Jameel,

no, there isn't any authentication required. As explained in the schema, traffic from the users pass through COIN before to be redirected to the xDSL router. So COIN acts as transparent proxy. Information gathered are managed to provide users' traffic information.

Best Regards.
