Dummy Data For Demo

by Steve » 17 Jan 2018, 10:27

Is there a way to get some dummy data into a test domain which has both usernames and usage so that we the graphs are populated ?
We'd like to use this when demoing the portal to our clients

Hi Steve,

you can use the HSNM demo that is available online. It already has some data entered.
The only thing is that those data are not new.

Thanks for the quick response.  Is there a way we can get this imported into our system ?

We have found it beneficial to show it alongside a custom template/login page which we have created to show them how it will look to their users and having the data in our system will make this a seamless process.

We can't do this with the HSNM demo as we cannot divulge our customers information to others and we would have to logout and/or switch between windows when demoing which is not ideal.

Hi Steve,

I'm sorry but no, there isn't any way. You can only perform a database bakcup and then import it to your system. But this will overwrites your data. The other thing you can do, to import some data, is importing users (but user's traffic data won't be imported).

Regards.
