Hello Team,

i) When using https in login page, it redirects to page showing "connect to wifi" (image 1), and when clicked on connect it redirects to blank page with URL gstatic.com (image 2) and no login happens. It must directly have to redirect to login page instead of "connect to wifi" page.
ii) If any https website is already opened in the browser previously and login page is in http, it do not redirect to the login page.
iii) In Mikrotik type gateway, SSL certificate is imported but it still shows warning message before opening login page. It might be due to mikrotik limitation they mentioned on their website (image ssl_mikrotik). Anything can be done in it to avoid warning?

Hi Humza
Mikrotik cannot redirect the user to a captive portal if the user try to load an HTTPS sites, so only HTTP sites are redirected to an external captive portal.
By the way, if you load a right SSL certificate inside the Mikrotik GW, and you set the right DNS name, you should not have any SSL warning

This is the problem!!!! On DNS name you don't have to put the same FQDN used on HSNM!!!

Now the https redirecting problem seems to be solved but when clicking "Connect" it redirects to "http://www.gstatic.com/generate_204" and keep stuck there. No welcome page open. Please refer the images.

That URL is one of the URL used by Android Phone to decide if use CNA or not.
Anyway I think you were trying to load an HTTPS site (youtube) and so remember that Mikrotik hotspot service doesn't redirect user if you use HTTPS site. Please try with an HTTP site instead of HTTPS site.

We have a lot of customers that are using HTTPS on their Mikrotik GW and also on HSNM Welcome Portal without any issue

The same (android) URL is opening when using on laptop. Yes it is https site and we have valid ssl certificate on mikrotik gateway, it should redirect to welcome page.

Probably you don't understand me....please try to open, as "first" site, an HTTP site not an HTTPS site. Anyway if from laptop you can open it, means that is not a problem related to your GW or HSNM.
