IPASS roaming integration

Hi there,
I suggest to implement IPASS roaming to the HSNM.

We partnered with IPASS over a long time before we switched to HSNM. We need it for some of our big clients to satisfy business users who use IPASS by default for their company access.

I think it will be interesting for all of the HSNM customers who run Wifi hotspots at venues like Hotels or Airports or Trade Fairs.

I can give the contact to the technical department from IPASS if needed.

P.S. I tried to attach a PDF. Isn't allowed... :?:

Hi jnsilver,

please, can you send us an email to support@hsnetworkmanager.com with the .pdf file and all the information you have about IPASS?

We will look at the documentations and we evaluate your request.

Best Regards.

Hi Jens,

I have a question: what do you expect from this integration?

Would you like users to use IPASS credentials in order to create an user in the HSNM (as happens by using social network credentials with HSNM)? or would you like users to be able to use IPASS profile itself?

If you would like the second one the only solution is to use Radius federation between HSNM and IPASS. Radius federation is already available through HSNM but it's necessary to test this feature in order to check compatibility between IPASS and HSNM.

In order to get further information about Radius federation you can have a look to the HSNM Administration Manual starting from page 101.

Let us know,

Best Regards.

IPASS integration is interesting for generating additional revenues for locations. IPASS pays for connection time/traffic from IPASS users.
