Verify Email domain setting

Hi,

Users have started to report they get the following message when entering valid email addresses:

Error!
The Email field is empty, or you have entered an invalid address.

Addresses from gmail.com seem to be accepted, but hotmail.com or hotmail.co.uk as an example all give the above error.

I've turned off "Verify Email" in the domain settings to allow users to register for now, is there any way to fix it?

I was able to replicate your issue in our LAB and so I've just forwarded the BUG to our development STAFF.
In the meanwhile, please disable the check "verify e-mail" as you already did, then I think the fix will be available on next HSNM release

Making further investigation we found that you can have that error if your IP address is blacklisted. So there isn't any issue on HSNM.
Anyway, on next HSNM version, we will write, on SystemLOG, the error returned by the MX server of the e-mail address in order to help you to understand better the possible cause.

Hi,

Thank you for the update, logging the returned error would be very helpful.

Can I just check, is it if the IP of the HSNM server is blacklisted that would cause this error?

You can check if your IP is blacklisted with multi on-line tools.
