Paypal Security Checks

Hello,

Since Paypal and UK banks have started to introduce more checks on transactions, we are finding users paying by card are being prompted to complete a two factor security check to validate their payment. The problem is the security check web page doesn't load, I guess because the issuing banks website isn't listed in the walled garden.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Kind regards,

Dean

Hi,
this is actually new for us, but we will investigate and revert.
In the meantime, please try to replicate the behavior with a laptop within the console opened and check if you can see errors/URLs blocked.
Bye

Hi,

I've now been able to capture the URLs the new security checks are using, I've found the following:

https://authentication-acs.marqeta.com/
https://writer.cardinalcommerce.com/
https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/ ... ery.min.js
https://centinelapi.cardinalcommerce.com/

This was when using a VISA issued card, I don't know if the URLs differ depending on the card issuer. This is becoming an increasing problem, as more and more banks start to requst a OTP from UK customers.

Best wishes,

Dean

Thank you for reporting this.
If you list those entries in your walled garden, does it works?
Please let us know so wen introduces them as automatic entries within users and activate PayPal as payment.
