Thank you for your quick response.
I have problems with other smaller routers. their CPU is reaching 100% usage and I suspect this is the reason we are getting a lot of "can not reach gateway" messages. Now I am  using rb2011 and rb301. Do you think the problem is related to the router?

so for 300 concurrent users what we reccoment?is the above suitable?

Hi Will,

Yes, it's possible that due to the 100% CPU usage users get that error.

Please be advised that the choice of Miktrotik devices is very wide and the selection of the router depends on the quantity of traffic and users you have to manage (we are talking from 100 to thousands of concurrent users). For a test purpose, it is more than enough even the smallest one.  For more helpful information, please refer below:

a) The RB9xx series is ideal for dozens of users
b) The RB2xxx series is ideal for hundreds of users
c) The CCR series is ideal for thousands of users
