Uploading backup to new Mikrotik router

by rune » 18 Jun 2018, 16:08

Hi
I have a customer that needed a new router. I had his old config and just uploaded that to a new mikrotik router.
Rb2011, the old one was also an RB2011.
All the config seems to be just fine, and I had no failures with the import.
However, the customer only gets to the default Mikrotik welcome portal when trying to browse.
I read threw all the config and cant't find anything missing. Walled garden is ok. And every other config set by the HS manager script is there.
Radius is correct and use radius is set on the hotspot server profile.
Please help
Best regards Rune

Hi Rune,

The new router is still using the default Hotspot. You need to run system reset and then import script otherwise, the new hotspot page will not take effect.

Hi Rune,

Probably you haven't copied the hotspot folder. Kindly read carefully the guide that explain how to configure the gateway properly.

Best Regards,
