Most of the times that an iPhone tries to connect to a free SSID with HSNM it connects and almost immediately disconnects without open welcome portal.
I don't want to to disable CNA as i want the pop up feature.
Have you seen this problem again?

I remember that something similar was happened to me some time ago and I played with the "AUTO-LOGIN" and "AUTO-JOIN" Apple wifi settings.
For example if the AUTO-LOGIN option is disabled the CNA doesn't pop-up
Anyway this is not related to HSNM but only to iOS
