Disconnect and ask for credentials Topics about the wireless hardware

Dear Support Team,

We have the problem when one user for example turn off the Wifi of their mobile or is out of range the Wifi Radio the systems ask for credentials again.

This only happens when the time without reconnect is around 5 minute past. If the user turn off the wifi and reconnect in 1 or 2 minutes he doesn´t have the problem.

We want the system not to request the credentials again, is it possible? or at least increase the time to reconnect again.

You have to check, and eventually increase, the idle-timeout on the product's policy

Also check if you have set a "Session time out"

We have:

Session Timeout: 0 (Is possible a 0 value here its a problem?
Timeout for Idle: 3

is possible to do one way that the system no need to relog? Would it overload the server?

Hi dpavatel,

we already answered you in our previous post.

You have to play with the Idle timeout and Session timeout. You can increase those values or set both to zero.

If you set both to zero HSNM will see the user as always connected user. But you have to pay attention based on what kind of product you are using. So you have to set parameters based on your needs.
