Hi Gufran
Generally this kind of issue happened if there is a radius communication problem between HSNM and CiscoWLC or if there was a radius authentication error.
Are you sure to have set the right radius secret on you CiscoWLC?
Are you sure to have the radius port opened on your firewall?

Have you ever read the SetupGuide (guide/SetupGuide/Cisco%20vWLC%20Setup%20Guide.en.pdf) for Cisco WLC ?

Best regards

Hi,

I am getting SSL error (attached for your reference). As per configuration guide in appendix "A", it is mentioned to add SSL certificate, could you please help how can download SSL from HSNM to the WLC.

Hi Ghufran
It is not mandatory to use HTTPS so, first of all, I suggest you to try to get it working with HTTP. After that, if you want to have HTTPS you need to add an SSL certificate to HSNM and another SSL certificate to CiscoWLC.
on HSNM Administration manual you can find information on how to load an SSL certificate into HSNM.
At this URL, https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/w ... _cg80.html, is available Cisco documentations providing the steps to correctly configure the controller with an SSL certificate.

Best regards

Hi Ghufran
With HTTP you cannot have the same issue....
If you had it probably you enabled the "HTTPS as default" checkbox on HSNM System Settings without loading a right certificate on it.
The SSL error is quit clear: the SSL certificate is not from a trusted CA
