Fail " redirection after upgrade to 10.1.1.0 build 55

by CIE » 05 Jun 2019, 16:09

Hi

We have a controller ruckus zd1200 with firmware version 9.13.3.

After upgrade to 10.1.1.0 if you login in the portal this is the final message "the port error the login procedure can not contact the gateway"

The configuration is the same.

thanks

Hi,

have you tried to rollback the previous firmware version and see if the problem disappeared?

It could be due to some changes on the new firmware.

Please let us know,

Best Regards.

Hi,

If it works with the previous firmware I suggest you to keep on using that firmware instead of the new one.

You could contact Ruckus support asking if they changed the port or the method used for the login.

Best Regards.

Hello,

We have a problem with the previous firmware, because newest Ruckus Access points (R720) are not compatible with the older firmware, so we need to use the newest firmware.

Hi
So if you need the new Ruckus firmware, i am sorry but you have to ask to them if they changed something (ports, URL to call, etc.) on login procedure and then let us know.

Thanks

Best regards

Hi,

HSNM version is the same. You only changed the firmware version of your Ruckus. So, for sure, there is something different between the two Ruckus firmware.

You need Ruckus to investigate this.

Best Regards.

I have opened an issue with ruckus. From the controller all radius packets are sent correctly.
We need to update the controller to support the new aps

Hi,

can you update your HSNM to the latest stable version and see if something different happens?

Otherwise, what we can do, is to connect via SSH to your HSNM and see what data are passed by Ruckus during the authentication process.

But for sure there is something different between the two firmware version.

Best Regards.
