Since version 13.5 or higher, the captive portal does not appear and the devices navigate although in the ruckus controller is not authorized.

the same goes for mikrotik

Please, describe the HSNM version, steps taken, symptoms, include all relevant screenshots to speed up the investigation and problem-solving process. It is very important to be as specific as possible.
If you can reproduce the problem you're facing, please provide step by step instructions how to reproduce the reported issue.

We have multiple installations and we do not have any kind of support request regarding this.

hsnm version 7.0.198 Stable

Since version 13.5 or higher, the captive portal does not appear and the devices navigate although in the ruckus zonedirector controller is not authorized.
Apple device gives "red no segura" (unsafe network) warning

Have you tried to navigate an HTTP page?
Does the device redirect you to the Welcome portal?

The problem is that the pop-up does not appear and then it confuses the client with "unsecured wifi"

Unsecure wifi is due to an Apple choice.
For Apple a with without encryption is insecure so we cannot do anything about this.

Please check if you've disabled Apple CNA into your Ruckus.
Please note that we do not provide support for clients' network devices.

Hi

Apple CNA is disabled in ruckus controller.

Is i use a iphone with version 13.4 or lower, then the captive portal appears automatically.

Instead, i use a iphone with version 13.5 or higher, the captive portal doesn´t appear, and that is wrong the client.

If you haven't modified the walled gardens between the test, please contact the Ruckus help desk in order to check this issue.

With Ruckus CNA is totally in charge of AP.

Note that I've made a test with Ruckus Software Version:9.8.3.0.14 and Apple CNA with iOs version 13.6 appears and works.

hi

Your test is with a ruckus controller version from 2015 so it's not a very reliable test.


You must make sure that your portal is compatible with ruckus in all its versions and if not, open a case with them.
