fail captive portal version 10.1 zonedirector ruckus

Hi

We have a controller ruckus zonedirecto zd1200 with firmware version 9.13.3.

After upgrade to 10.1.1.0 if you login in the portal, is a loop occurs and returns to the welcome page
The configuration is the same.

Please, describe the HSNM version, steps taken, symptoms, include all relevant screenshots to speed up the investigation and problem-solving process. It is very important to be as specific as possible.
If you can reproduce the problem you're facing, please provide step by step instructions how to reproduce the reported issue.

Hi,
The HSNM version 7.0.198 Stable
if i do a Upgrade of the zonedirector 1200 from version 9.13.1.0 until 10.1.2.0.277, after a few seconds the portal gives an error and returns to the home page and

so over and over again
(attachment issue).
if i do a downgrade of the controller until version 9.13.1.0, everything works again

Please check if the whitelist/walled garden list is correct with every single URL, then re-try.

Hi

the walled garden is the same.

The problem is that the controller loops when authenticating a user.

It seems a ZoneDirector/Ruckus issue.
Please contact Ruckus support in the meantime we will configure in our lab, our zd to test it with the new firmware.
This will take so much time because we are very busy at the moment.

Hi,
I've made some test and i can confirm you that is a Rucks software problem.
Using software version: 9.8.3.0.14 everything works great.
Updating it (I've tried 200.7.10.202.118) Ruckus software sends wrong data to the Radius server so the login can't happen and you receive that error.
I've made by my side a support request to Ruckus to debug and solve it.

Please note that this problem is not related to HSNM so it is in Ruckus' hands with their timings.
Temporarily, I encourage you to maintain old software in order to let it work.

Dear Cie,
can you please tell us which version of HSNM are you using?
We have currently test V 7.0.199 with ZoneDirector V10.3.0.0.362 and everything works normally.
Please check if your domain has on Hardware type selected "Ruckus zone director".
