Our HSNM VM Appliance is running CentOS 6 which has now gone end of life, is there a way to upgrade/migrate to a new VM running CentOS 7?

we are working to ultimate our new VM that is base on Centos8.
It will be ready, I think, from Q1 2021.

Many thanks for the update, that is good news.

Are there any plans to move away from CentOS with their announcement that CentOS 8 will be the last, and will go end of life December 31, 2021?

At the moment we don't.
We will wait to better understand the direction of this.
Actually, we will work with Centos8, its support will end by the end of 2029.
