portal hotspot problems

Good morning:

The problem I have is that when logging into a portal with a ruckus controller, it loops in.
I enter the registration portal with my mail, I confirm the registration but then I return to the portal instead of being able to browse.

Log in loops, to what may be due?

Hi,

currently we don't have any reports like this from other customers using Ruckus.

How long have you got this problem? Did you do any changes on your configuration before starting having this problem?

What is your HSNM version?

It gives us problems with the version 5.0.188 and 5.0.189. Could you tell us what ports you use to authenticate the Hotspot Manager?

ports are 9997 and 9998.

Hi,

ports I mentioned are used by ruckus devices.

I suggest you to read the SetupGateway guide available under Documentation menu of your HSNM.

We continue with problems with the portal, if we use the free portal or with password works correctly, as soon as we change to registration by mail it gives problems.
It loops and does not register or work properly.

Could you comment on my solution?

Sorry for delay but we are very busy in these days.
Anyway this morning we tried to login using our Ruckus ZoneDirector (AP R500) and we were able to login without any issue using "with registration by the user" as "authentication method" and the e-mail address as username. We tried on HSNM with ver 5.0.189.
Are you sure to use the right "Hw type" on gateway configuration?

If you can please give us more informations (domain settings, screenshot or video of the error, ecc.) in order to reproduce the issue on our lab

We have all the correct security part and there were no changes, version 5.0.188.
It would be possible:

- Did you send us a test link?
- Would you connect to check if it is a problem with the machine?
- Or give us access to the Linux machine

Because this error started without making configuration changes or updates.

Surelly something is done if it worked and now it doesn't worked. If you don't rember when the issue is started, it is difficult to understang which is the cause that generated it.
Can you check, enabling your browser inspector, if there are any errors when you have a loop? If yes please send us the screenshot to HSNM support e-mail?
Can you provide us a video of the error and also your domain and gateway configuration?
