Recently we are seeing error on facebook login.

Invalid Scopes: publish_actions. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/fa ... ermissions

We've been running fine for a bit. We have HTTPS and I wonder if this relates to

4) New If the appliance it has been installed an SSL certificate and a user tries to log in via Facebook, it defines the return URL in HTTPS. It is necessary because the new Facebook App no longer work in HTTP.

But I don't think so... We don't enable HTTPS as default, but maybe we should? Certificate is valid and signed. I'm just hesitant to introduce Force HTTPS if it doesn't work and I would of thought redirection would take https by default then fall back to http?

Anyways, now it's two questions, Facebook login, what's our boggle?

No, the Facebook error is not related to HTTPS but to Facebook "publish_action" elements.
All Facebook applications (created after Apr 25, 2018) can’t be authorized with publish_actions permission. Facebook just complitely broke an ability to post through its native API. All apps that were created before Apr 25, 2018 are still working fine but they must obtained the authorization from Facebook to do that.
Anyway, with new HSNM ver.6 you can post something on the Facebook user's timeline, without having, on the Facebook APP, the "publish_action" approved by Facebbok.

So the solution is to upgrade your HSNM to ver. 6

RE-entered the secret for facebook login and it's running again. have lost my twitter auth too, so will check that app and re-auth. In case anyone else hits the changes..
