by emilvi » 03 Apr 2019, 10:56

I Have a replica setup, first one of the hsnm appliance boxes failed to upgrade, Then I started on the other and it was OK until I should do a optimalization (cant remeber what th exact text was) then that also crashed. Now it's back with default password setup and I need help quick, because I also can't find out where to restore backup. So my redudant setup is now competely down

Hi EMil
I understand that the upgrade process failed on one of the HSNm and that now the replica is down, but I don't understand:

1) what and why you did an "DB data compression"
2) what you mean with "Now it's back with default password setup"

Can you send to HSNM support e-mail the steps that you did and both the URL to reach your HSNM?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

I cant remember the exact, but it was an update that was recomended after the 6.1.55 update
2) what you mean with "Now it's back with default password setup"
It comes back with 0000 password
3) the steps that you did and both the URL to reach your HSNM

Thanks for your help, it seems OK when logged in hsnm2 but error when logged in hsnm1

hsnm2:

Host: 192.168.20.11 Running Show the host status in the context of data replication
Host: 192.168.20.12 Running Show the host status in the context of data replication

hsnm1 (not working, only system settings available)
Host: 192.168.20.11 Error! Show the host status in the context of data replication
Host: 192.168.20.12 Running Show the host status in the context of data replication

The DB seems fine now, but should I do this two updates?
The first was the one who crashed hsnm2, but maybe It was because of DB problems?

A compiler update is available! Please install it to increase the performance.
Apache update is available!

Hi Emil
Yes, you can do the compiler and also the Apache update.
Yesterday there was not any DB corruption, the issue was that not all the files were copyed and so the WebGUI cannot access to the DB

Best regards
