Automatic Email not sent upon user registration

Hello,

Upon user registration the automatic email containing the credentials is not being sent.
However when we go to a user and from the menu use the send credentials button the email is delivered correctly.

On the domain we have selected under the "Options for the email address" - "send email notification" .

Do we have to do anything more?

[Solved]
Had selected Enable sending receipts under Domain>Options for the Email address.
After removing it emails started going through.
