If we set a daily allowance of say 500mb we are aware that this allowance resets at 00:00 each day

The issue we have however is that if a user logs in for the first time that day at 23:35, they are allocated the 500mb as expected but their session goes past the 00:00 reset time the allowance is taken from the next days limit..

For example:

23:31 - User logs in and is assigned 500mb. User utilises 450mb of their allowance during this session

00:01 - User logs off

00:02 - User logs in again expecting to have 500mb for the day but actually only has 50mb.

Yes, I understood...you have been very clear but unfortunatly there isn't any solution to this problem.
The amount of data or time made by the user is added on the day when the session expires and this depend by radius server.
The user with a daily time or traffic would have to be disconnected every midnight but this is not done by radius server, it only sum the time or traffic made in the day and then reset the count at midnight
