How do you manually add a MAC address to a customer's account?

Hi gteklee,
There isn't this possibility. Based on the product policy user can add a number of different devices to it's account (by using them to log in). Then, what user can do, is to use the user profile App to remove one or more of the registered devices to be able to add another device to it's account (using the new device to log in)
Best Regards.

How is a user able to get online with a Smart TV that does not have a browser?
Thanks again.

Hi,
to get online using a device that doesn't have a browser, the only way is to bind its MAC Address, in order to bypass the Hotspot authentication, in the Hotspot configuration.
If you have new HSNM version 6, and if you are using Mikrotik Gateway, you can set MAC addresses to bind in the HSNM and then, through the script running in the Mikrotik Gateway, MAC addresses will be added to the Hotspot IP Binding section.
If you are using HSNM version 5 you have to manually add desired MAC addresses to the Hotspot IP Binding section.
Best Regards.

In new HSNM version 6 is it possible to bind a mac address to bypass the login but also assign a specific product to it?
The scenario is that we want some devices to never see welcome portal but also assign to them bandwith limitations.

Hi
No, it is not possible because "binding" a MAC-ADDRESS bypass all the login procedure and so it is not possible to assign a product
Best regards
