Incorrect Expiration Date

by clannet » 11 Sep 2020, 19:06

Hi,

We have noticed that HSNM doesn't always seem to calculate the Expiration date correctly.

As an example, below is an export of "Sales to Users" listed in Excel. The product has an expiry of 3 days set. I've highlighted a few examples where HSNM seems to have calculated the date wrong, but you can see it does most times get it right.

HSNM Version 7.0.195 Stable with Mikrotik Gateway.

Kind regards,

Dean

Hi,
this is not an issue.
This value is set when you buy a product without expiration.
Actually is the maximum value that can be applied due to the MySQL version used.
Have a nice day.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The problem is that this product does have an expiration set (of 3 days from sale), and so the dates highlighted show where HSNM hasn't set the 3 day expiration as it should.

Thanks,

Dean

Please try to update to the latest stable version, try to re-apply an expiration then check if you get the correct data.
This is a strange behavior that we haven't faced yet.
In any case, I've made a test and I've replicated part of your problem, but actually it isn't.
If a user buys a product but never activate and use it, it's initially set a maximum expiration value as written some posts ago:

The first user buys a product and activate it immediately, an expiry of 3 days is set.
The second user buys a product but never start browsing.

Thank you for explaining, I hadn't realised the expiration date wasn't set until a user logged in.

This explained what we had seen.

Best wishes,

Dean
