New VM install of image. Root Login / change IP

Hello,

I recently downloaded and imported a vhd image, on install into XEN there is an option to assign IP / Subnet etc.
The image installed, but it does not look like the IP / network settings were implemented, a slight inconvenience. How can I login via the VM Console root username and password, so that I can set / change the IP info.

root/0000
admin / 0000
do not work as well as a number of others I tired root/password root/admin root/root etc.

Hello Lyndol
You can access to HSNM via a web GUI reachable through the default HSNM IP 192.168.0.250 or through the emergency IP address 192.168.10.10 (username admin and pwd 0000). Then you can change the IP address based on your needs.
For security reason we don't provide the root access to the system

Best regards

Hi, Thanks for the info, We will have to see what we can do regarding accessing the server from a network that does not exist as yet. also the vast majority of our VM servers in that cluster do not have GUIs.

Hello Lyndol
Another way could be load the HSNM virtual machine on your local network, then login via web and change the IP address based on your needs or based on your cloud provider needs; after that reload again the virtual machin to the cloud provider.
