Upgrading from 5.0.189 (stable) to 6.0.153 (stable)

Hi!
We have been waiting for an v6 stable release to upgrade our HSNM instance.

Is there any settings/ API calls we must check / change before or after the upgrade?

Most of our installations are very basic, I don't think it shoulnd be any problem but.. we also have hotels where we use the API to create users, extract information, we use the custom URL to validadte some fields...


Any tips before / after the update?

Hi Gerard,

no, there is nothing special to check.

You can performe the udpate that, based on the amount of data in your HSNM, may takes tens of minutes. The most important thing is to not close the HSNM page during the update and wait until the update is finished.

Hi there, for anyone wondering if we had any issue.. none, everything worked fine.
The update time took arround 4-5 min with 4 vcpu (e5-2620), 4Gb ram and ~200.000 users.
