Error when adding a new manager

by clannet » 06 Jul 2020, 16:32

HSNM Version: 7.0.195 Stable

Hi,

We have a reseller who is allowed a maximum of 100 gateways, which is set on their reseller account.

Before we upgraded and ran version 6, when they added a new manager under Options then would set the maximum gateways value to 0 and HSNM applied their reseller limit of 100 gateways across all of their managers.

Since upgrading to v7, if they try and add a manager with the maximum gateway value set to 0 they get the error like below:

They also can't edit any of their existing managers who have a value of 0 gateways without getting this error.

Thanks,

Dean

Hi,
developers told this:
Zero indicates unlimited number that is greater than the limit configured (100), so the error appears.
Have a nice day.

Hi,

Thank you for following up on this.

It certainly used to allow Resellers to enter a value of 0, as the existing managers are still set to 0 - so there must have been a change in the way this works. It would be much easier for the Reseller if they could just enter a value of 0, and their overall total just be applied.

Best wishes,

Dean

From version 6 to version 7 this policy changes.
It isn't in our plan to re-change it.
Have a nice day.
