I'm interested in any further detail on how to get Facebook Analytics operational.

From Facebook:
"Once you start logging events, this overview will give you a summary of how people are using your app or website. You'll be able to see data like sessions, active users, purchases, demographics and more."

I'm not sure how to kick off stats collection. Is there any additional work that needs to be done once the app is confirmed and operational?

we don't have further information on Facebook Analytics. What we know is that you can get, in the App panel, details about received request.

What would be your goal using Facebook Analytics?
