Redirect on Android - HSNM 6.1.67 General questions and topics about hsnm

We have noticed that in the latest of HSNM 6.1.67 when trying to redirect on Android the CNA just closes and the user is not redirected.

Can you please advise ?

Using a Samsung S8 on Android version 9 when we have a redirect the CNA loads with the login page, visible and once authenticated within the CNA, the redirected site appears to load the site but then closes and takes me back to the Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi screen and tells me I am connected.

To confirm we are on the latest version of HSNM 6.1.67 and it appears to happen with any redirect. This doesn't appear to be an issue with an iPhone and the Apple CNA redirects as normal and opens the site within the CNA without closing

thank you for the details.

This kind of behaviour, however, is related to how the CNA works at the device side and so it depends on the device brand/model due to brand's Android customization.
It's not something related to the HSNM.

I think I have the same problem. I've have upgraded a system from 6.1.56 to 6.1.67. Now the client calls me that this this caused (samsung) smart-tv not getting the welcome portal anymore. Samsung uses android on their TV's. It seems something changed in between.

If you rollback the HSNM to the older version, does it work without any issue?
Developers told me that cannot be due by HSNM, but if you can tell me which is the latest version where it worked I can tell them to check the difference between the two version.

I have rolled back to 6.1.57 because .56 was not available.

We are unfortunately unable to roll back as the features of the latest version are in use by one of our customers sites.
