Is there any plan to implement some Let's Encrypt support?
It would be a really great feature while adding security to the hostpot clients.

No, at the moment there isn't any future plan to support "Let's encrypt certificate"
So if you want to use SSL certificate you have to buy your own certificate from a CA.
