Hi Paulin
all seems OK but if you were not able to load the web interface, means that something are not configure properly on your infrastructure.
I am sorry but I haven't any other suggestion to provide you.

If you want please send to HSNM support mail address the public IP address of the HSNM

Best regards

Hello!

Thank you for all the Help this far. Following your advice, we have been able to get the system up and running!

The problem now is that, the License we had was used on our first DISTANT SERVER/HOST. We changed the server/host and we want to use the same License. Knowing that the License was used in the former server/host, it may have been blocked. We want it to be re-activated, so that we can use it for this our new server/host.

What do we have to do in this case?

Hi Paulin
You have to turn off the original server, and send as by e-mail your GUID.
Then we will reset it and within 8 hours you have the GUID available on the new server and the message should disappear

The GUID we sent by E-mail to the Support has not yet been activated up till now. We have been checking our HSNM and we still checked this Morning and it is still not registered.

Hello!

We succeeded to configure HSNM and it is about to be put into production.
But in our network, we have equipments (like IP phones, printers, photocopiers) which do not have an interface on which we register them through the welcome portal to the hostpot.
We need to get these devices connected along side every other device to be in our network.

What are we to do as concerns this case?

Any help will matter a lot!

Hi Paulin,
configure those devices with Hotspot network subnet so devices under the Hotspot network can reach one of these.
Maybe use IPs that don't are into the DHCP range.
In addition to this, you have to add the device mac address into "Bypass or Lock IP, Subnet or Mac Address" under gateway configuration.
Have a nice day.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hello!

Thank you for your replies so far.
Hi Paulin,

Maybe use IPs that don't are into the DHCP range.
In addition to this, you have to add the device mac address into "Bypass or Lock IP, Subnet or Mac Address" under gateway configuration.

We have been able to add all the devices necessary to be in the "Bypass" list for our services.

This is what we want to do, we want to create product policies (products) which will offer 30 Gigabytes of connection for example. This 30Gig can then be given a limited or unlimited time for usage, and as well, the user can use the 30 Gig before the time allocated. And if the user finishes the 30Gig before the time allocated, he/she will no longer be connected (be able to browse).

Please how do we accomplish this?

Hi Paulin
Please open a new topic for your question! You cannot use one topic for all your questions.
In addition to that you can find an answer to your question on the HSNM Administration manual and then doing some test on your HSNM

Hello HSNM Support

Please as I'm reading this message bellow, Is it possible by any way or another to configure the vmware network interface as NAT and make HSNM to work fine or the only way for HSNM to work fine (in private IP or in public IP) is to set the vmware network interface as BRIDGE during the configuration of HSNM?

Hi Paulin
This kind of error mean a communication problem between HSNM and gateway so you have to double check your network configuration. You wrote that vmware where HSNM is installed is natted: what do you mean? Did you set the vmware network interface as NAT instead of as BRIDGE? If YES, please don't do that: the vmware network interface of HSNM must be set to BRIDGE

Belot you can also find a sample network schema that allow you to understand how is the communication between HSNM and GWs

Hope this help you

Hi Worldvoice
By default HSNM virtual machine's network interface is set to BRIDGE and you must not change to NAT otherwise you could not reach HSNM.
So please leave HSNM virtual machine settings as you find; only change CPU or RAM based on your needs.

Best regards
