When the portal redirect to login page, show this error

¡ERROR! NO SE PUEDE EJECUTAR EL INICIO DE SESION PORQUE EL WELCOME PORTAL ES EN HTTPS Y EL GATEWAY (PUERTA DE ENLACE) SOLO SOPORTE HTTP (CONTENIDO MIXTO). POR FAVOR, SUBE UN CERTIFICADO EN EL GATEWAY

this error happens with mikrotik and fortigate

the gateway manuals do not indicate how to install the certificate

Hi,
you will see this error because modern desktop browsers try to call your HTTP link via HTTPS and if the HTTPS works, it automatically upgrades the call
but in your GW you have not so you get the mixed content error.
On the desktop, you can disable the HTTPS force (but this isn't very easy since you've to do it on all desktop browsers) or install the cert on Gw.

Fortigate HTTPS login is not yet supported by the Fortinet software.
We are in contact with Fortigate to get this solved in the upcoming weeks/months.
We cannot give you an ETA at the moment.
