High CPU Usage HSNM administration backend general discussion

Hi good afternoon,
We were checking the logs of CPU usage of our virtual appliance and noticed that its always at 100%.attached find an image.
1. What could be causing this high usage ?
2.how can we minimize the cpu usage or improve it to be lower than 50-80 %

Hi Joseph
Generally the high CPU usage is due by one or more heavy query running in background and obviously, more data you have, bigger is the percentage to have an high CPU usage.
An example could be one or more manager accounts that run data export or reports.

I don't know which HSNM version you have, but I suggest you to install the latest HSNM version.

I am running the latest update as of this post.
Because am running the virtual model can adding more CPU allocation(cores) to the cent os VM help ?

YES, if your server has available resources, you can power off the HSNM virtual machine and the add more CPU cores and also RAM (if you want).
Then you can power on again the HSNM virtual machine
